Education Above All (EAA)
is an initiative founded in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. Its aim is to build a global movement that contributes to human, social and economic development through the provision of quality education. With a particular focus on those affected by poverty, conflict and disaster, it champions the needs of children, youth and women to empower them to become active members of their communities.

Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
In 2003, Sheikha Moza was appointed as UNESCO’s Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education in recognition of her ongoing work in education.
Ambassador, United Nations Alliance of Civilizations
In 2005, Sheikha Moza was invited to be part of the High Level Group of the Alliance of Civilizations (AoC), a group launched by the United Nations Secretary General to foster inter-cultural dialogue. Subsequently, Sheikha Moza was appointed Alliance of Civilizations Ambassador.
Advocate, United Nations Millennium Development
Goals In June 2010, Sheikha Moza was invited by the United Nations Secretary General to be a member of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals Advocacy Group with a special focus on Millennium Development Goal number 2 – universal primary education. Presently, she also is the co-leader of the Education and Health cluster of this group. more..
